Arrow Spring Bar Grease Fitting

Easy to install, you shoud keep one or two around in case you damage one.

Not the best

Very difficult to get grease into this very important section of the hitch. Initially grease does get into this area but after a period of traveling the ends flatten out and grease no longer makes it way through. I wound up removing the grease bars and greasing by hand as I was not able to get grease to go through the grease zirks. After removing the grease bar fittings grease did make it though the fittings so the fittings were not blocked with dirt or dry grease.

Year three of hitch ownership.

Acquired 4 zerks (two are spare) and replaced originals which were both worn down. Was not aware it was a wear item prior to this. Overall hitch operates as advertised when hooked up. I have had plenty of practice during my tenure but I struggle in the hitch up process keeping the springs in place. Very quirky unit during this set up time. Also encounter jack slippage on route which requires my attention at stops when on route. Perhaps I need to constantly buy additional parts with this unit. Maybe this unit is not the best choice for a pensioner.
