Wow, what a difference it makes driving with this hitch! So glad I spent the money on this and wish I would have sooner!

Ordered the trail save hitch for my Ford F450? Two days after I received it they ordered an upgrade a safety plate for a front rear sway which cost me an additional hundred dollars after my additional 3200. I spent for the hitch on inspection. The bolts that holds the front plate were short I called customer service and told them 2 1/2 weeks later they refused to give me the bolts to correct the problem. Also the plates installed rubbing on the airbags which I had to modify.

I have not used our BD3 with the beam guide yet so I can't speak to how well it works. But I can share a couple of thoughts:

1. Hensley sent me an extra kit by mistake. I had to get a return label, box the
extra kit up and take it back to the UPS store.

2. The pads on the metal mounts are just a little too wide (not too thick but too wide). I had to grind down the pad to match the metal mounts.

As long as I'm on a roll here let me share that I recently bought a BD3-D hitch that had 2 air leaks. Plus the hitch itself lacked enough adjustment in the pucks to allow it to mount on my truck. I ended up fixing the leaks and modifying the pucks. When I spoke to the rep from Hensley he said there were working on a new design.

All in all good product poor implementation.

The installation was very easy. I haven't pulled the fifth wheel yet.

Air ride fifth wheel hitch is simply a must for pulling a trailer. The hitch cushions your ride and keeps your vehicle and trailer from taking a beating from the road. It is surprising how many times I’ve shown other campers my air ride and they had never seen one. Don’t pull your fifth wheel without one.

As a result of years of satisfying use, one of the O/C lock assembly nuts that the wrench locks broke, I was able to use the O/C lock by using the bottom nut.

I reached out to Mike at Hensley and he told me this was an easy fix and I ordered a replacement part and within 3 days and 15 minutes I removed the old/broken OCLock and installed the new O/C Lock.

I love my Hensley, best hitch out there. IMO

The guides were easy to install.They give me the added security while towing my 23000 lb trailer

Would be nice if you included u-bolts and bushing with spares kit, make it all in one, as I had to order the bushing that was broke but did know that until I started replacing the other parts.

Since I purchased this hitch, I have had four trips totaling 1000 miles. I can tell you the sway is nearly gone. I can drive a lot more comfortable and less stressful. The installation instructions were pretty clear, and when I had a problem, I called the toll free number and Mike immediately gave me the tips and trick to figure out my issue. I am happy I invested in this trailer hitch. I am telling everyone about it.

After 12 years of owning rvs and other “top of the line” hitches, and some white knuckle experiences, I told myself the next camper we get we’ll get a Hensley or Propride. The initial tow happened the next day. And what can I saw. It’s a whole different towing experience than I ever expected. I’ve driven cdl truck for 14 years, so I’m familiar with heavy trucks. By accident, my wife raised the brand new Trailer Saver hitch while the jaws were still clamped causing catastrophic damage.....on our first trip. One call to Hensley got us back on the road within 1 hour of us showing up at their shop. The crew did amazing work replacing bent and broken bolts. I cannot thank them and Aaron Greyhek enough! What a great company and product.

the old pump was letting air escape, but the new one is holding air. It was a easy swap

I’m very impressed with the performance of the Hensley Arrow hitch. With standard WD hitch we experienced much white knuckle driving pulling our 30 foot trailer, that has disappeared! Pulling the trailer now with my F150 is a breeze even in windy weather and no more watching out for semi’s. I would definitely recommend this hitch and look forward to many more miles of camping travel with confidence and ease of driving.

Easy to install, you shoud keep one or two around in case you damage one.

Bringing home the Keystone Bullet premier 25 fkpr from the dealer on just a ball mount with 10 mph crosswinds couldn't go over 35 miles an hour. After the ultimate arrow arrived and then we installed it had to take it travel trailer back for a small warranty repair night & day difference. Driving back home after the dealer weren't you repair on the highway 70 mph to barely tell it was back there.
