My second replacement mirror

Getting replacement mirrors has been quite simple, although the cost of shipping to Canada is twice the cost of the mirror itself.

Both of the previous mirrors have broken their main support shaft, at the point which it gets very thin, where the shaft has been machined into a ball. How much of the damage has been caused by my misuse of the mirrors I couldn't say, they do tend to get thrown into the car when not in use, but it's definitely a weak spot in the design.

That said, I do like the McKesh mirrors. They're big, which a wide field of vision, and the arms that hold the mirrors on the car are plenty long enough to allow me to see the far end of the trailer I'm towing. Despite having to buy replacement mirrors, I'll stick with the Mckesh model
