Who is Tow Safe, LLC, and how is it connected to Hensley?
Tow Safe, LLC is the parent company and official manufacturer of the Hensley Arrow® and TrailerSaver Air Ride product lines.
While many RVers know us simply as "Hensley" or "Hensley Mfg," Tow Safe is the entity that stands behind our lifetime warranties and American-made engineering. When you see the Tow Safe name on your documentation or shipping labels, you can rest assured you are receiving an authentic, factory-direct product from our team in Romeo, Michigan.
Will the Hensley Arrow work with my specific truck and trailer frame?
The Hensley Arrow is designed to be a universal travel trailer hitch solution. It fits all standard receivers. On the trailer side, our "bolt-on" design works with almost all standard-frame trailers (including Airstream, Grand Design, and Jayco) without the need for drilling or permanent welding.
I’m looking for a "Henley Hitch"—is this the right place?
Yes, you’ve found the right spot! While many of our customers occasionally search for a "Henley Hitch," the official name of the orange sway-elimination system is the Hensley Arrow®. Since 1993, we’ve been the original manufacturers of the 4-bar linkage hitch designed to stop trailer sway before it starts. Whether you call us Hensley or Henley, our goal is the same: keeping your family safe on the road.
How long does it take to install a weight distribution hitch like the Hensley Arrow?
Most of our customers complete their own installation in about 90 minutes to 2 hours. Because the Hensley Arrow is a "no-drill" system, you only need basic hand tools and a torque wrench. Every hitch comes with a detailed manual, and our technical support team is available by phone if you need a hand while you’re under the rig.
What kind of maintenance does an air-ride or sway-elimination hitch require?
Very little. To keep your best travel trailer hitch performing like new, we recommend greasing the main head assembly every 1,000 miles (or once a season) using the built-in grease zerk. For our TrailerSaver Air Ride line, simply check your airbag pressure before each trip to ensure it’s dialed in,
