We had the opportunity to meet the Hensley team for onsite warranty repairs in Romeo Michigan recently.
Kudos to Mike and the team for insuring the work done correctly, helping with moving the RV to disconnect, and reconnecting sending us on our way.
The Hitch has made all the difference in towing vs. the conventional prior setup.

We are not new to towing an RV. We have towed travel trailers and a 5th wheel. Have towed the 5th wheel cross country. We down sized our RV back to a 27ft trailer and have a Ford F150. When we owned a trailer in the past we used a good WD hitch. When we purchased the new trailer we purchased the same WD hitch. My wife was not comfortable with the new set up and when in winds she was not comfortable. I found myself driving with 2 hands most of the time. We had a cross-country trip planned and I knew it would not be an enjoyable trip with the current set up. I started looking at used Hensleys and Talked with Mike Bittenger at Hensley. Mike was great answering all my questions never pushing my direction just offering things to consider. After looking at all in the information I decided to get the new version Hensley Ultimate. Installation was very easy and took a few short test drives. Well the first actual trip was a short 7000 mile trip across country SC to WA. We just returned home and during the travel we pulled through 35 - 80 degree temps, 100 - over 8000 ft elevations and lots of winds. within the first 100 miles my wife commented on how smooth the trailer was towing. I was able to drive 1 handed again and relax. We tow from 60-62 on freeway. Never in too much of a hurry. Yes we had some movement, especially the high winds in Nebraska a Wyoming. Oregon had winds as well. The freeway was even restricting RV's in Wyoming when we got off for the night. I knew it was windy but not that bad as we didn't feel it.
I would have to say this is one of the best investments I have made. I do feel like I'm towing the 5th wheel again. Very secure feeling.
I would also like to say the customer service is 2nd to none. We had a small issue with one of the jack screws. Not a serious issue. Mike had a new one shipped out to one of our stops. UPS delivered the part right to our campsite.
Our short test trip was very enjoyable as driving was stress free.

My trailer with the Hensley hitch tows like a dream. With my old setup I had trailer sway whenever I got behind a tracker trailer or in wind.
With the Hensley it doesn’t move a bit. It can look intimidating to hook up but after one or two tries I find easier then with the ball hitch. I highly recommend.

My wife and I are not new to pulling a TT. We upgraded to a new Winnebago Voyage couples trailer after 20 years of owning a hybrid trailer. I have always used a WD hitch and after the purchase of our ne trailer bought a high end sway control WD hitch. The added height of our trailer created more of a sail like effect and in the slightest winds we would have to slow to 45-50 MPH just to keep it on the road. After doing some research on how to control this, I contacted Hensley. Mike Bittenger contacted me and graciously answered all of my questions about the hitch. We went thru the winter (N. Idaho cold) staying in contact with Mike and late in the winter we bit the bullet and ordered our new Arrow (14k). The hitch stayed in the shop until I was able to get my TT uncovered. The install was amazingly easy (took me about 90 minutes). We took our TT on a shake down trip this last weekend, not to far, about 20 miles from the house. The hitch did not disappoint. I did make some adjustments to the jacks for the return trip as my truck had a little more bounce than I cared for. So, the trip home was a bit different. We had a storm come in that had produced 25-35 MPH left to right winds. I was a bit nervous because I know what these winds would normally do with my old hitch. Unbelievable.. that is all I can say about the Hensley Arrow! Besides the normal push of the wind on my truck there was ZERO sensation of sway in my trailer. My wife and I have several long trips planned for this summer and fall and I am now looking forward to the drive as much as the camping itself.
Mike and the staff at Hensley treated me with respect and kindness. They answered everything I needed to know and were patient (not pushy) when it came to the sale of the hitch.

I have installed my new Ultimate Hensley Arrow Hitch. Installation was fairly easy even though I had to use the stabilizer bar extenders. My sales person Mike knew I would need them when he sold me that hitch. To me that was very important being my toy hauler is 14 yrs old. I had a couple questions when installing and Mike was extremely helpful in getting me straightened out. Took the trailer for a 10 mile test run and it was an amazing difference on handling. Went over all hardware after test run and I am now looking forward to some long hauls. Thanks again to Mike for all his tech support.
